Card0220	TIBET: Early Black & White postcard entitled: “Thibet blessing of a layman by a Lama” The boy receiving the Blessing is S.W. Laden La and it was taken in the 1890s. This same photo appears in the book, ‘A Man of the Frontier’ by Nick and Deki Rhodes (Deki is Laden La’s grand-daughter). Laden La acted as an aid to the Dalai Lama while in Exile in India (1910-12) and in the 1920s he organized the Lhasa Police Force. VF/Condition. Unused.	$55.00
